The region has been an important arena for exploring growth and innovation vectors linked to customers who meet the demands of food consumption outside the home. Several solutions that we can test in food service in relevant markets such as those in Central Europe allow BRF to deliver more results and strengthen our brands in aspects of innovation and adaptation to global consumer trends.

In recent years, we have formed a joint venture (with Invicta Food) and acquired a distributor (Universal Meats). Acquisitions were instrumental in gaining a leading role in the food service channel with high potential in countries such as the United Kingdom. We also operate in retail through the Sadia brand in countries such as Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal and Eastern Europe.
